Prepare your smoker or cooker to 275 degrees. We're cooking these on a Traeger Ironwood XL with pecan pellets. Four food grade cedar planks and an instant read thermometer are also needed.

instructions

Step 1:

Season the filets with Sure Fire Lemon Pepper seasoning and place on the cedar planks. Thinly slice half of a lemon and add one slice to each filet. Add to your smoker and continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 115 - 120 degrees in the thickest part.

Step 2:

Melt butter and add the chopped dill and honey. Stir and add the juice of half a lemon. Once the internal temperature of the salmon has reached 115 - 120, begin glazing the entire filet with the sauce. Continue cooking until the filets reach an internal temperature of 125 - 130 degrees. Remove and let rest for 10 minutes before enjoying.
